I would like to announce the birth of my daughter Savannah. She was born Wednesday November 19th, 2008 at 1:15 pm, central time. She weighed 6 pounds 11 ounces. She is 18 and three quarters inches long. She has some curly black hair. She has pretty blue eyes. She is absolutely beautiful and precious.
I've set up an online baby book where you can read journal entries, sign the guest book, and there will be pictures there also. If anyone is interested in viewing it, send me a message with an email address that you would like the invitation and password sent to.

Pipi, first of all, congratulations, I know you're gonna be an awesome mother for her, and I know that she's gonna fill your life to the brim, ... with all sorts of things, believe me:)
Secondly: I hope you enjoyed sleeping, for that is the one thing you're likely to have a shortage of, at least for the short term.
But, even so, waking up a hundered times every night, is worth the while.

Many, many congratulations Pipi, that's fantastic news. She sounds, as everyone else has said, adorable, and she will definitely be breaking hearts when she's older. You rock as a person and a friend, so you'll rock as a mother too I just know it. Congratulations again to you and the very lucky Savannah.

Hi, I know I' late, but congradulations to ya. I was planning to name one of my girls, when I have them, Sivana. I had that name picked out. It is so beautiful.
I'd also recommend you go to www.mothering.com and get a subscription to their magazine. It can be got in digital format and is accessible. You could even contribute in the discussions there by clicking on the discuss link. I've learned so much on that site that it is unbelievable. Go and be another blind mother there to share your wisdom. They need to hear from more of us so they can know that blind people can be parents, too.
